On April 30th, I will visit Curtis Elementary, then, next day, May 1st, I visit Meadowview Elementary and share what journaling is about, plus give all the 5th graders a journal for themselves.
Last week A Kids Choice Foundation made a trip to Legacy Elementary where the discussion was on How To Journal, all 5th graders attended and we had a very good talk on the importance of having a journal to write your thoughts, goals, travel experience, school days, friendships, and how you must always be honest about yourself!!
My personal testimony on journaling is very dear to me, I have a spiritual journey and write every morning in my prayer journal, without having my private time alone with my Heavenly Father, I would not have the blessing I have today to carry me through the adoptions of these schools in our Parish. for that matter, anything in my life is given to the Lord to take care of, we all have a personal journey, our journey in life is very dear to all of us, always remember the Lord will only give us what we can handle and nothing more.

Our teachers at Meadowview Elementary are so excited to be given the opportunity to attend the Landmark School for training.
Our 5th graders are about to learn a life changing lesson though the gift of journals.

What a great day at Meadowview Elementary School!!
The students put on a great performance for me and I loved it!
I was there to share the importance of Journaling!! To my surprise these 5th graders shared back with me their knowledge on keeping a journal and we had a great discussion!
Afterwards, every student received a journal to take it with them on their next step of Middle School, I love the children, and I love their smiles, their hugs, and the love they give back!
Their Deedee wishes them a great journey moving on up to Middle School…(hugs))
Ohh and I forgot to add; I loved signing their books!! they made me feel so very special!
Our Meadowview Elementary 5th graders are walking around with journal in hand! It’s so refreshing to see children who want to learn from others. The students were so excited for Dee Dee to sign their journal. Yesterday is a day they will not forget. Thank you, A-Kids-Choice Foundation for this wonderful gift.

What a wonderful thing to know and the excitement it gives me that our students are carrying their journals with them!! Thats awesome! I know they will start writing in them..I love those kids!!
